The Botanical Gardens
For this project, I created a Passion Guide focused on one of my favorite subjects—botanical gardens. I’ve always found them peaceful and inspiring, so I wanted to share that experience with others through thoughtful design. I researched different gardens, collected Yelp reviews, and gathered key details like locations and amenities. I designed a foldout 8x8-inch booklet that includes original photos, custom icons, and a map of 20 featured gardens. I also highlighted my top three picks with supporting quotes and visuals. This project allowed me to combine personal interest with design thinking, using typography, imagery, and layout to build an engaging and informative guide that reflects my passion for nature and design.

Bloom - Botanical Gardens *
Designed in Figma, this app translates the printed guide into an interactive digital experience. It expands on the original concept by introducing features not possible in print, including a searchable map, user profiles, garden highlights, and event updates. The same whimsical, nature-inspired aesthetic carries through with floral illustrations and soft visuals, while animations and interactive elements add depth and movement. Reimagining the guide as an app allowed the project to evolve into a more immersive and functional experience while staying visually connected to the original design.
